Bridges in Mathematics Resources
Bridges in Mathematics will be the core resource utilized in fifth grade. This year, you will probably hear a lot about the math activities that students will be engaged in during class. I will be assigning homework that will be located in the Bridges' Home Connections workbook. Each student will store this book in the "To do" section of their homework folder. I will require them to write their assignments in their daily planner which should also be housed in their three-ring binder.
In addition to the Home Connections workbook, students and their families can access many helpful resources on the Bridges in Mathematics website. Please go to:http://www.mathlearningcenter.org/resources/families. Once you have entered the page scroll down and click on the red tab labeled 5. This will direct you to the fifth grade digital math resources that compliment the concepts we are learning in school.
